A climber often carries a small knife, usually clipped to their harness, in case of emergencies and for the purpose of cutting cord and webbing when needed. There exist very few knives designed specifically for this need: absolutely secure locking, compact size, feather weight, and robust. I designed this knife to use a standard replaceable blade and to have no springs, switches, or other complex locking mechanisms. A carabiner keeps the blade securely locked and the blade deploys with a push of a finger when needed.
